In external honing we machine the outer surfaces of cylindrical workpieces such as piston rods, shafts, axles and rolls. Honing removes very little material, improves geometry (roundness, straightness, cylindricity) and produces a uniform, smooth surface.<\/p>\n

Because the workpiece does not heat up during honing, the structure of the surface layer remains unchanged. The characteristic cross-hatch pattern retains lubricant well, extending the service life of seals and sliding elements.<\/p>\n

We perform external honing on parts from Φ50 to Φ450 mm in diameter and up to 10 m in length.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>
