A honed tube is the foundation of every high-quality hydraulic cylinder. Honing finishes the inner surface of the tube to an accurate size, within tight tolerances and with low surface roughness. The result is effective sealing, smooth piston travel and reduced seal wear.
Honing is one of our core technologies. We use honed tubes to build our own hydraulic cylinders and also offer honing as a service – on new tubes or to restore the bore of worn cylinder barrels.
We advise on material, dimensions and tolerance class according to the operating pressure and application, so your cylinder performs reliably even under the heaviest loads.
