OVERVIEW
Fast, productive metal welding
MIG/MAG welding is an arc welding process that uses a continuously fed consumable wire electrode under a shielding gas. MAG welding uses an active gas or gas mixture suited to structural steels, while MIG welding uses an inert gas and is used mainly for aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.
The process offers high travel speeds and high deposition rates, making it suitable for both one-off parts and series production. We use it to fabricate load-bearing structures, housings and machine components, and to weld mounting elements on hydraulic cylinders. With the right choice of wire, gas and parameters, we achieve strong, consistent welds that withstand dynamic loads.
Before work begins, we review the drawings, materials and weld quality requirements together with you.
