OVERVIEW
Precise, clean welds
In TIG welding, the arc burns between a non-consumable tungsten electrode and the workpiece, while an inert gas – usually argon – shields the weld zone. Filler metal is added separately, giving the welder complete control over the weld pool.
The result is clean, high-quality, visually appealing welds with no spatter. This makes TIG the first choice for stainless steel, aluminium and thin materials, and wherever tightness and appearance matter – for example in pipework, vessels and stainless hydraulic cylinders. Because heat input is tightly controlled, distortion of the workpiece stays low, which matters for precise and thin-walled parts.
We weld new parts to your drawings and repair demanding components where every millimetre counts.
Where we use it
- Stainless steels
- Aluminium and its alloys
- Thin-walled parts and tubes
